Perfect venue
“Where to begin with why I'd recommend them?! From the very first enquiry, all contacts were swift, clear, friendly yet professional. They worked around difficult time schedules as my husband isn't from the UK so we had limited availability to visit together etc. When covid hit and our wedding was cancelled twice, they supported us wonderfully, keeping in touch, keeping our spirits up whilst also keeping us very up to date with what rules etc meant.
Due to visa restrictions, we had to get married in a certain time frame, and they made this happen for us, which I can never thank them enough for. The venue itself is gorgeous. It's beautiful without being ostentatious, elegant but comfortable. We had time to come in and decorate and were guided through the day itself by Grace who is just awesome! If I could do it all over again, I would pick that venue every time.”

JUST AMAZING
“I simply couldn't praise Wickham Estate enough. After two postponements due to Covid, we finally made it the third time lucky and it was just the most amazing day. Throughout Covid, Samantha was always available to talk through any concerns we had, was prepared to move our dates, and talk through all our different options and how we could make it all work. She was such a comfort, and it made such a difference in what was a really anxious time. In the run-up to the wedding, Lois was simply wonderful. She was so detailed and knowledgeable, and nothing was too much to ask, even though 'TBC was my go-to phrase through the planning stages! She took the pressure off by liaising with suppliers on our behalf and dealt with any issues quietly behind the scenes. I would absolutely 100% recommend the house if you can.
It was really special getting ready at the venue but also being able to stay the night and not have to worry about going anywhere made a really wonderful end to the evening. We also use Mother of the Tribe to help look after the children at the wedding and they were just amazing and completely worth the cost. It was the most wonderful and perfect day and I couldn't be more grateful to the amazing team at Wickham Estate. The venue was perfect and it was everything we wanted.”

A HIDDEN GEM
“We recently got married at the vineyard and it was the most beautiful setting. We initially struggled to find a venue, but the Wickham Estate was a hidden gem and had the cosy intimate vibe we wanted. I would also like to say a massive thank you to all of the staff, especially Grace, our coordinator. She was brilliant both in the lead up to the big day but also on the day itself.
We didn't have a toastmaster so Grace kindly stepped in to ensure the day ran smoothly, which enabled us to stay relaxed and calm throughout so we could enjoy the day. I would also like to say another thank you to Hannah, the catering manager at Exquisite Catering as she kept in contact with myself and Grace throughout the process and the food was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this venue for any event as its simply stunning and the team are fantastic!”

A fairy tale wedding
“We cannot recommend Wickham Estate enough! On Saturday we had the most magical day and made memories that will last forever! Wickham Estate were so supportive and patient with us leading up to our wedding. Due to covid we found planning the wedding really stressful and difficult as we had family coming over from abroad but Wickham Estate couldn’t have been more helpful. The venue is beautiful, the staff were amazing and the food was incredible! We want to do it all over again
Grace- thank you for making the beginning part of planning our wedding so much easier, you are just wonderful!
Lois- you now feel like a family member as we have chatted to you so much and you have been there for us throughout the whole process. We are so grateful for everything you done for us and how hard you worked on the day!

The Perfect day

The staff were fantastic and accommodating with all of our worries around Covid. They did everything they could to make our wedding day special. The venue is just absolutely stunning”

The Perfect Wedding
“Our experience at three choirs was incredible. Sam and Grace were so friendly and reassuring in the stressful times in planning, and on the day keeping things flowing and in line. We highly recommend the gorgeous venue and the wine itself for the day. It was the perfect combination with the food from Exquisite Catering team provided by Wickham Estate. The accommodation on site and the bridal suite was well equipped with what we needed and in perfect condition.
You are guaranteed to have the wedding of your dreams at this venue and the staff make that happen. Even though we had to postpone our perfect day by an extra year and have a wedding still with restrictions in place, the Girls were quick to update us on what was happening and provide ideas to make it work. We cant thank Wickham Estate enough for giving us a day we will remember for the rest of our lives.”

Amazing day
“We had the most amazing experience at Wickham Estate for our wedding day! From the venue itself which is absolutely stunning, to the efficiency of the staff, to the gorgeous accommodation onsite. We've had so many positive comments from our guests about how beautiful the venue was as we were lucky enough to avoid the rain to have our ceremony outside.
I would recommend using the house onsite for the bridal prep room especially, but also to stay for the night. Although it's a little bit extra to pay, it's so worth it. We even managed to walk around the vineyard the following morning before we checked out. Overall the day was incredible and ran so so smoothly. Thank you Wickham Estate”

Incredible
“I got married in July and it was just amazing. From my very first look round to the final goodbye at the end of the wedding day it was just amazing customer service and the team always was there whenever i had a question or ‘mini panic’.
We got married outside and was stunning. We used to bridal prep room and that was so much easier as it was on site so less stress getting ready too…The team were great and welcoming, my guests felt at ease and the day went off without a hitch. I couldn’t recommend this venue more to people. Absolutely brilliant. Thank you for making our day so special.”

Beautiful setting and a perfect day
“Wickham Estate is the perfect summer wedding venue. We got married in the Gazebo, which looks out at the vines - all of our guests were blown away at the setting. This also helped our photographers get stunning photographs.
All the staff, from booking our wedding 2 years ago, all the way up to and including the wedding day were friendly, accommodating and helpful. They couldn't do enough for us!
There was plenty of space inside and out of the building for the evening. That meant all guests were catered for (both dancers and chatters!).
Would not hesitate to recommend this venue to future couples.”

Best Location Around
“We looked into a number of locations for our wedding but as soon as we saw the vineyard, we knew it was the one. From the very first visit to subsequent visits to our final appointment and the wedding day itself, we couldn't have asked for or dreamt of a better place or better people to deal with. Sam and Helen at the vineyard was always helpful, always friendly and above all they were always there! I only had a couple of wobbles and each time Sam told me ‘Don’t worry we've got you and that was so true. Getting married in the gazebo was just dreamy and our photos have come out with a real romantic feeling - just what a wedding should be.
The vineyard has everything you need whether you want a big wedding with a band/disco or a smaller wedding like we had (40 guests) it is perfect. An outside place in the vines to get married, a wet weather room just in case it rains, a beautiful area for drinks and canapés and the main room - the old winery - for your wedding breakfast. They are also putting in accommodation which just adds that finishing touch. I honestly can't rate the location, the staff and Sam and Helen highly enough. Best day of our lives and not just because we got married. All our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was as well.”

“I have to say that our wedding day in June this year was the most perfect day of my life. The location and setting of the Wickham Estate is perfect in every way. So many of our guests said it was the loveliest wedding they have ever been to.

“We had an outdoor ceremony at the Vineyard in August and it was the most perfect day you could ask for. The venue is beautiful and rustic and the grounds are lovely. Grace (the co-ordinator) was so helpful and made the day run very smoothly. Couldn't recommend enough!”
