Ceremony

With two beautifully appointed locations, including fully licensed indoor and outdoor areas, we provide the flexibility to tailor your ceremony to your vision. Whether you're dreaming of an intimate vineyard setting or an elegant indoor celebration, we ensure every detail of your wedding is special and unforgettable.

Ceremonies at Wickham Estate can start from 1pm. This allows enough time in the morning for getting ready as well as ensuring your suppliers time to dress the venue to perfection, so everything is exactly how you envisioned. It also allows the day to flow nicely without rushing or leaving you with big gaps.

We are licensed up to 90 during the day for your ceremony & wedding breakfast. Then we can hold up to 150 guests in total for your evening reception.

We rarely have to move our ceremony locations but if the weather is not on our side we will move everything inside to our beautiful Vine Room for you at no extra charge!
The Gazebo
Perfect for outdoor weddings, our gazebo is surrounded by the vineyard, offering a serene and romantic atmosphere. Available until the end of October, it allows you to celebrate your love with a view of the vines, which are in full bloom from May to September and turn a rich, beautiful red by October.
The Vine Room
For those who prefer an indoor setting, the Vine Room is our stunning ceremony space. Bathed in natural light, the large floor-to-ceiling windows provide breathtaking views of the vines while you remain comfortably inside. The neutral colour palette creates the perfect backdrop for any wedding theme, allowing you to customize the room to match your unique style.

The Reception
Nestled amid the vines, The Old Winery is where your celebration truly comes to life. Picture stepping into a space filled with rustic charm and modern elegance—original wooden beams overhead, chandeliers glistening with vintage crystal cut glass, and grand 10ft oak doors welcoming you and your guests. The room where you enjoy your first meal as a married couple and celebrate the start of your married journey until your feet can’t dance any more!

Our on-site accommodation is designed to make your wedding day as seamless and special as possible. Begin your morning in the large, light-filled Bridal Prep Room, where natural light pours in, creating the perfect atmosphere for you and your bridal party to get ready in style.
Just steps away, the spacious Honeymoon Suite awaits, offering a luxurious retreat where you can relax after dancing the night away.
Additionally, we offer four beautifully appointed guest bedrooms, ensuring your closest family and friends can stay nearby and share in the magic of your celebration.

WEDDING PACKAGE & AGENDA

Day One
- Arrive at Wickham Estate from 3pm.
- Check into bedrooms.
- Enjoy welcome drinks of mimosas, beers and soft drinks along with our charcuterie grazing platter for 10 guests.
- Delight in a pre-wedding dinner at out sister restaurant [The Mill, Botley] from 7.30pm. (2 course set menu for 10 guests. Up to 10 guests can be added for an additional charge)
- Stay overnight at the vineyard in the Guest House with up to 10 guests. -
Day Two
Includes:
- Exclusive use of the venue
- Use of the Guest House & Bridal prep in the morning.
- Grazing Bridal Brunch Platter for 10 people.
- Ceremony on site at either our outdoor Gazebo or inside Vine Room.
- Drinks reception consisting of: 2 glasses of sparkling wine per person, a wheelbarrow of beer, 1 large alcoholic kilner and 1 large soft drink kilner.
- The Estate 4 course menu including 4 canapes per person.
- A toast drink per person for speeches.
- A choice of one of our décor styling packages.
- Premium DJ entertainment for the evening.
