With the beautiful sun shining we thought why not show you how our lovely vines are coming along! A lot of our couples’ book Wickham Estate as their wedding venue in the winter months with December being busy with so many engagements happening over Christmas and New Year. So they don’t get to see how beautiful the vineyard looks in the Summer until their wedding day!
The vines start to grow around May time (all dependant on the weather!) so come June, the vines are looking beautiful and green! As you can see the grapes are still teeny tiny but the views are stunning with the vines in bloom.
We love the vineyard at Wickham Estate as it makes a beautiful and unique backdrop for wedding photos and is a truly exceptional setting for every wedding day. Not only can guests enjoy the stunning surroundings, but our gazebo is also licenced to hold civil ceremonies, making it a beautiful outdoor wedding venue. As the vines change throughout the months, it becomes unique to each couple as week by week the vines grow and change colour until they become a gorgeous orangey/red by October.
With Wickham Estate giving couples exclusive use for their wedding day, the vines are free for the Bride & Groom to roam capturing beautiful moments that will last forever.
